Wine has been made at Kleine Zalze since 1695 and today this family-owned winery, 3 km outside Stellenbosch, in the heart of the Cape Wine lands, continues the tradition of producing wines of outstanding quality.
Exceptional wines are made possible by careful management of the farm's extensive natural assets through innovative canopy management and selecting varieties and clones specifically suited to the various soils and slopes. Kleine Zalze wines are ranged in three tiers: Our flagship Family Reserve range, the Vineyard Selection range, and the Cellar Selection range., Our wines have received numerous accolades both locally and abroad. 'Terroir' Restaurant specializes in Provencal inspired with a Cape twist, using locally sourced ingredients and delivering deceptively simply food. The restaurant was recently awarded the Eat Out Johnnie Walker Restaurant of the Year.
